Easiest Yorkshire puddings

The only Yorkshire pudding recipe you will need! Try these Easiest Yorkshire puddings to complete a delicious roast dinner.

Simply mix flour, salt, eggs and milk, then rest the batter while you heat some oil in a muffin tin until smoking hot. Pour the batter into the hot tin and get it straight back into the oven. Leave to rise and that’s it.

Dont open the oven door when cooking as they will fall in the rise.

Ingredients  

  • 1 cup Plain flour (140g)
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • 8 tbsp Sunflower Oil

CAN YOU FREEZE YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS?

Put your cooked and cooled Yorkshire puddings in a plastic lidded container and pop them into the freezer. They’ll keep in the freezer for up to 3 months. Again, you can reheat the frozen Yorkshire Puddings straight from frozen! Just pop them in a preheated oven set to 220C (200C fan / gas mark 7 / 425F) for 10 – 15 minutes until piping hot.

Equipment

  • 1 Muffin/Yorkshire pudding tin

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Plain flour (140g)
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • 8 tbsp Sunflower Oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 230C/fan 210C/gas mark 8. Drizzle a tbsp sunflower oil evenly into 8 muffin cups and place in the oven until piping hot
  • To make the batter, add 1 cup plain flour, 200ml milk and 4 eggs into a bowl and beat until smooth. You can season with salt and pepper as an optional extra
  • Pour the batter into a jug, then remove the hot tins from the oven. Carefully and evenly pour the batter into the muffin cups. Place the tins back in the oven and leave the oven door closed for 20-25 mins until the puddings have puffed up and browned.
  • Serve immediately or cool and freeze for up to 1 month!
